Chile Weather = Chilly where I'm going.

Hi - I'm just putzing about and I found a link to the Chilean weather.  That's the good news. The bad news - have a look at tomorrow's forecast.

Santiago is on the left portion of the map near the bottom.  Tomorrow it is going to be 35 degrees C.  I can handle that.  Now check the lower part of the right hand map (Punta Arenas).  I want to go hiking about 250 km north of there.  Look at the temperatures!  A low of 5 and a high of 11.  Brrrr!  I might as well go hiking here.  We got to 8 degrees today!  

Maybe I'll hang around Santiago for a bit.  Actually, I'm scheduled for 3 days there.  I was checking Google Earth and Santiago is definitely a big modern city.

Enough for now.  Time to go back to the packing list and make sure I'm taking enough warm  clothes!
